Panjagutta: Deputy CM Muhammad inaugurated Melody Voice Center on Sunday in Virinchi Hospital, Road No.1, Banjara Hills on the occasion of World Voice Day.
Renowned Virinchi Hospitals launched Melody Voice Center for the first in Hyderabad. Deputy CM Muhammad inaugurated the center on the occasion of World Voice Day. He said, “I am very happy to start first throat related surgery center here in Hyderabad city”.
Melody Voice Center allows singers, cinema artists and political leaders to treat their voice related problems in Hyderabad city only. Earlier, they used to travel to other countries for treatment. In addition, the Deputy CM suggested hospital management to start a new cell for poor people giving some discount on treatment.
“Voice is the source to express our gestures and it is our confidence”, said Dr. V. Phanidra Kumar, Voice surgeon and president of Associations of Phono Surgeons of India. The doctor said that some think that they are no remedies for voice problems apart from surgeries. He said that not to think like that as modern technology evolved to heal the problems easily at short span of time.
He said, “Vocal cord surrounded with vocal nerves responds when we speak and breathe in, out. They completely respond on mind’s direction. People suffering from hoarse throat for 3 weeks should consult a doctor otherwise it leads to vocal cord cancer.
Celebrities, officials at inaugural function
Doctor also suggested singers, cinema artists and political leaders to not intake spicy food, chocolates, smoke and alcohol. Actor cum writer Thanikella Bharani also attended the inaugural function and said voice is very important to singers and cinema artists. Dr.Manish Guptha, Prabhakar Reddy and Cinema artists Uttej and Ramesh also participated in the ceremony.
