Mulugu: A Government degree college at Bhupalapally district set to get three English courses soon. Rs. 2 Cr released for development.
Government Degree College at Jayashankar Bhupalapally district set to get special attention. National Assessment and Accreditation Counsel issued B grade to this college and offered a help line center in the college for online application in admission process. Candidates expected to join the college after enrolment with Aadhar number. Central Government sanctioned Rs. 2 Cr for college development recently. Lecturers and professors said that students have to use government facilities only.
NAAC visited this college last year and examined facilities, students uplift and programs conducted by the lectures for student’s intelligence and finally granted B grade. Hence, Central Govt issued Rs. 2 Cr fund for further college development process. It already released Rs. 1 Cr 22 lakhs in which Rs. 70 lakhs used for additional class rooms, seminar hall and reading room. And Rs. 60 lakhs used for computers, library and sports kits.
Additional three English courses
Presently, 25 lecturers set to teach in Telugu medium. B. Sc (MPC, BZC), B. Com General, BA (HEP, EPP), B. Sc computer science and B. Com computer Application courses are available in the college. In addition, they set at add another three courses in English medium – BSc (MPC), BSc (BZC), BSc (BZ Computer Application).
Mulugu Degree College has computer labs, reading rooms and also has 2 lakh books in library according to choice based credit system. This college is located in 13.3 acres and has 14 CCTV cameras for 24 hours surveillance.
